When I first got started in marketing, people told me that I
needed to write 2300-word articles if I wanted to rank on page 1.

For certain industries and topics though, I don=E2=80=99t think people
want to read that many words. Just think of someone searching for
=E2=80=9Chow to tie a tie=E2=80=9D on Google. Would you want to read 2000 w=
ords?
Or even 1000?

Probably not. You=E2=80=99d rather just see a few images or a video
that teaches you how to tie a tie.

So I thought it would be fun to see the word count length for the
best-performing articles for each industry.
